Cleaning Area Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Cleaning Area Manager to oversee operations across the London area. This is an excellent opportunity for a client-focused professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service standards and thrives in a fast-paced, operational role.

The Role
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of a wide range of cleaning services, including:

• General commercial cleaning
• Window cleaning
• Hard floor treatments
• Carpet cleaning and specialist deep cleans

You will play a key role in ensuring service excellence across all contracts while building strong relationships with both clients and on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end service delivery across multiple sites
• Recruitment, training, payroll and development of cleaning operatives
• Managing time & attendance compliance and payroll coordination
• Conducting quality audits and driving continuous improvement
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients and resolving issues promptly

About You

• Proven experience in a similar Area Manager or operations role within cleaning or facilities services
• Full clean driving license and DBS check
• Hands-on, highly organised, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage teams and clients effectively
• Committed to maintaining the highest standards of service

Working Hours

• Split shift: approximately 5am–9am and 6pm–10pm, Monday to Friday
• Saturday mornings as required
• Additional overtime available
