About the Role:
We’re looking for a  Logistics Operations Manager to take the lead at a key Distribution Centre in Zaltbommel. In this role, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods, from receiving shipments from global suppliers to distributing products across the EU, UK, and US. You’ll be pivotal in maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, and managing warehouse operations efficiently.

Previous experience of driving efficiency across the entire logistics function including ensuring robust import/export compliance will be key to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shipments and customs documentation.
• Oversee order fulfilment for both B2B and B2C channels.
• Maintain safe and accurate storage of goods, including hazardous materials.
• Lead the distribution of products to other regional centres.
• Manage inventory with regular stock counts and reporting.
• Coordinate staff requirements and maintain warehouse operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics and distribution processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing warehouse/distribution operations.
• Skilled in shipping logistics and international documentation.
• Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and team leadership skills.
• Adaptability in a change management environment.
• Experience with or exposure to driving Operational Efficenccy & Process improvement would be key to this role. Training/certifications in any of the following would be desirable:  Kaizen, Lean &/or Six Sigma, OpEx, Process Improvement, Process Efficiency
