- Description
We are seeking a Financial Accountant to accurately maintain the accounting records, processes and internal/external reporting for our client.
Key Responsibilities:
Month end reporting to the US covering the consolidation of 5 companies
Production of year end statutory accounts
Completion of various government returns
Analysis and production of monthly Intercompany / transfer pricing activity
Annual tax return analysis, including as required purchase/sale of entities, hive up of divisions, tax enquiries.
Ad hoc during year and year end reporting to US covering accounting schedules and tax information.
Intercompany maintenance between the UK and other subsidiary/group companies including cross charging, netting payments, hedge analysis/entries, cash transfers.
Compliance with SOX requirements, including where applicable maintenance of procedures and documentation, segregation of duty matrices, nominal ledger reconciliations, journal listings, audit change listings, sign off review, and Quarterly Accounting Reviews (QAR's) with the US
Knowledge/Qualifications Required:
- Competent PC skills, including MS Office (primarily Excel, Outlook and Word).
- Knowledge of current accounting and tax changes / issues.
- Experience of the maintenance of accounting systems.
- 5+ years post qualification experience.
- Educated to Degree level, Fully Qualified CCAB accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIPFA)
