MuleSoft Architect

We are working with a fantastic Global Business who are looking to recruit a MuleSoft Architect to help them integrate and connect numerous applications, systems, and projects via MuleSoft, an enterprise-grade platform. A MuleSoft Architect also guides fellow MuleSoft Developers in the integration of enterprise systems and is instrumental in the architecture and design of MuleSoft solutions.

We are looking for flexible candidates that will be able to work between Reading and Swindon and salary will be dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Build API Management solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Architect high-quality APIs that are scalable and global at the core
• Develop best practices for API development and API access.
• Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development
• Lead integration teams and architect solutions using Mule ESB and the Anypoint Platform
• Provide guidance on leading Integration Architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, etc.
• Integrate solutions with COTS applications, platforms, and/or external systems.
• Participate or leads in part in the technical project planning process with IT business analysts.
• Create technical design specifications.
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members.
• Participate in architecture discussion and provide an architectural recommendation as per MuleSoft capabilities.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on MuleSoft experience
• Experience building custom frameworks/components, Mule flows, error handling, etc.
• Deep understanding of various protocols such as REST, HTTP, MQ, AMQP is desired.
• Experience with SOAP, HTTP, JMS, XML and WSDL
