Part-Time MI and Reporting Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a market leading business in their wholesale division, who provide products and services to over 4,500 retailers nationwide.

Reporting to the Head of Analytics, this MI and Reporting Analyst vacancy will include collecting accurate sales data from National Business Development Managers and Area Sales Managers across all key accounts, ready for analysis and insight to help shape business strategy.

The role:

• To understand the objectives and campaigns of the Sales team and how MI analysis can drive results
• Production of sales MI analysis reports to support sales team activity
• Build MI reports and packs in Excel for internal review meetings and supply supporting analysis to identify trends, strengths & weaknesses
• Work with Finance / MI departments to ensure automation of regular reports with continuous revision and evolution of reports/processes
• Production of sales trend analysis, recognizing change in the trends and recommendations for improvement/campaigns.
• Constantly review data to ensure it is fit for purpose and are we doing things as streamlined as we can.
• Protecting data with appropriate password and classification
• Design of ad hoc MI reports
  

Skills and experience:

• Advanced MS Excel skills are essential
• Proven track record in an MI or Sales Reporting role would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
