My client is an exciting central Newbury based market research company, with lovely offices, seeking a talented candidate with a background in market research to join their team.
The position will involve taking responsibility for uploading surveys, managing day-to-day fieldwork requirements and providing initial analysis of the research findings, as well as the following key responsibilities:
- Understanding of market research principles and practices
- Develop a high level of knowledge of the survey software
- Effective use of panel management software
- Accurate input of survey translations
- Monitoring fieldwork, ensuring deadlines will be met
- Ensuring accuracy of data collection and quality of responses
- Effective liaison with suppliers
- Effective use of reporting tools within survey software
- Creation of accurate reports following style guides and templates
- Supporting the project managers with initial analysis, if required
- Additional support for project managers in deliverable creation
- Accurate reporting on external costs of projects
- Assistance with other team-members' projects to ensure deadlines are met
- Accurate record keeping throughout the project, such as email filing and document versioning
- Accurate and appropriate sharing of information within the project team and Research Executive team
- Effective management of project workload and deadlines
- Effective communication with project teams, responding to queries in a timely fashion
The perfect candidate will have the following skills, qualities and experience:
- A university degree or equivalent
- At least one to two years market research experience
- Excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel and email with Outlook
- Fantastic attention to detail, checking that work is correct before passing on
- Ability to manage priorities to ensure that deadlines are met
- Strong communication skills as you will work across different teams and with lots of suppliers
- Passionate about providing an outstanding level of service in everything that you do
- Superb team player
