HSE Risk Assessor - Midlands

Role Summary:
Based out of our Birmingham region you will have access to a main office as well as being field based for client site visits. The HSE Risk Assessor will conduct national compliance audits in line with ISO and British standards related to Fire Health & Safety risks and Environmental aspects.
Skills and Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal Fire Health & Safety and Environmental audits/risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with legal and best practice requirements.
• Facilitate external audits with certification bodies.
• Provide training, advice, and guidance on assessments and audits.
• Develop relationships with clients, teams, and suppliers to innovate and improve service delivery.
• Proactively address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Required Experience and Certifications:
• Minimum 2 years+ in a similar role within Real Estate or Facilities Management.
• Clean Driving Licence.
• Essential: NEBOSH National General Certificate and NEBOSH Fire and Risk Management.
• Experience in planning and delivering audits, conducting combined HS&E audits, Fire Risk Assessments, and emergency preparedness testing.Desirable Qualifications:
• Working towards NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety.
• Graduate Member of IOSH (Essential: Minimum Tech IOSH).
• Awareness of Legionella and Legionnaires Disease.
• ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor or willingness to complete.
• IEMA Internal Auditor course or willingness to complete.Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5.30pm
Friday: 9am - 5pmSalary:
£50,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
