Property Credit Controller: An opportunity has become available for a leading property business for an experienced Credit Controller (ideally with commercial Property experience; Chasing Rent and/or Service Charges) to provide effective credit control to this amazing B Corp certified business. The credit controller will be managing the efficient and timely collection of occupier charges for allocated clients in an efficient and professional manner.
Credit Controller Skills, Knowledge and Values
- Responsible for the rent & service charge collection of 700 occupiers within our Property Management System (Tramps) or client systems (Yardi / MRI)
- Collection of outstanding sums due from occupiers, achieve 95% rental income targets to be collected within 7 days of the due date specified within the lease
- Strict review of arrears, work with the Team Leader & Surveyors to enforce CRAR / litigation action for any occupier delinquency
- Strict monitoring of all occupier payment plans to ensure occupiers are committing to the terms & condition of the payment plan
- Ensure that team process & controls are strictly followed and full compliance
- External focus – Build strong occupier relations, resolve occupier queries promptly and accurately record all correspondence within the relevant Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Liaising with Property Surveyors, Client Accountants and Property Managers as appropriate
