Estimating Pricing Surveyor Quotes
Job Description:
- Ensure that accurate and competitively priced quotations for suppliers, materials and parts, subcontract labour, internal labour, parking, congestion and travel costs are provided to clients in a timely manner using the approved schedule of rates.
- Ensure full consideration is given to Health and Safety provisions and include any associated cost.
- Ensure Clik is utilised as per Company process.
- Direct leadership for Estimating team
- Representing the Company, promoting our products and services and providing a first-class customer service to new and existing clients.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an approved schedule of rates to be used throughout the business to ensure all quotes are priced accurately enabling the business to win and deliver projects on time and to budget
- Set performance targets for the Estimating team and monitor the quantity and quality of quotations against these targets
- Ensure the Company schedule of rates are being utilised to ensure quotations are priced accurately
- Ensure the Estimating workload is fairly distributed and executed in a timely manner
- Checking and overseeing the survey packs and quotes to ensure they are correct before they are submitted to the client.
- Monitor the Enquiries inbox to ensure the team respond to emails in a timely manner
- Ensure that Clik is being fully utilised and produce reports to monitor the status of work within the Estimating team
- Technical Support for Engineering Team
- Complete all second surveys
- Ensure the Company 's processes are adhered to
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the responsibilities of the role
- Act always as a representative of the Company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied
Competencies
- Experience in purchasing and buying in a similar industry
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office

- High attention to detail, ensuring all quotes and customer interaction is managed in an efficient manner.
