Marketing Assistant
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a growing business that provide technology into the care sector, supporting vulnerable adults to live independently and safely in their own homes.
This role is reporting into the Head of Marketing and will play an important role in the delivery of marketing strategy and marketing plans.
You will be responsible for keeping the marketing and sales functions organised, coordinating our communications with our clients and out to market.
You will take ownership for analysing and feeding back our progress, finding who we need to speak to, supporting what we need to say and producing best practice examples of our work to share externally, on our website and on social media.
The role:
- Produce high quality stories, brochures, product literature, and presentation material, in liaison with the product specialists and sales staff.
- Manage the website using the CMS, including liaising with in-house and outsourced web developers.
- Devise a content plan for social media channels in line with the marketing plan and deliver this, reporting regularly on effectiveness.
- Support the Head of Marketing to generate leads, feeding the sales pipeline and provide support to the sales team.
- Organise and help to run promotional events and webinars.
- Support the Head of Marketing to deliver the marketing plan.
- Report regularly on sales and marketing performance against KPIs using Google Analytics and other associated metrics tools.

- Excellent organisational skills - you know exactly where everything is at and work well to deadlines.
- Problem solving skills - you like to think around a problem and independently find solutions.
- A great team player - you like interacting with others.
- Great attention to detail - you love to analyse and summarise information clearly.
- Strong IT skills - previous experience of Wordpress CMS, Google and Adobe software packages is advantageous but not essential (training is provided).
- Have an interest in our technology and social care industries.
- Committed to operational excellence.
- A relevant qualification in sales or marketing is desirable.
