Commercial Director 

This a rare and exciting opportunity to join an amazing business as the new member of the Executive Team to oversee all commercial strategy across the business. 

As Commercial Director you will be responsible for all revenue strategies, cost control, customer acquisition and customer success across the group. 

Ideal applicants will be numerate, entrepreneurial and an excellent commercial leader who will roll up their sleeves to support execution, can think outside the box, plus ensure brand alignment and values are maintained.  

This individual will direct the sales and marketing teams and engage with operations, finance, brand and design teams. 

The role: 

• Assess and execute strategy for all existing and potential new revenue strategies including the assessment of data and systems to establish new opportunities 

• Understand existing technology systems and process to be able to maximise data outputs and create greater efficiencies 

• Develop and oversee the customer acquisition strategy and ensuring best in class customer journey 

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and goals in particular thinking about innovative strategies for individual sites and local markets including assessment of each new market 

Skills & Experience Required: 

• Must be interested in the power of business to act as a force for good and the power of brand values to support culture and create positive impact 

• Ideal applicants will have some experience within the property / Hospitality sector within Sales and Marketing at a senior level 

• Expert in numerical analysis and financial knowledge including P&L and cashflow development and use of Excel 

• Deep understanding of all commercial functions including sales, revenue, marketing, digital and sales 

• Interest and experience in data analysis and interpretation as well as software systems 

• Ability to direct, lead, train, motivate & drive teams and support the development an incredible culture
