MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing retail brands in the UK, working at their busy Head Office in the Marketing Team.
This exciting and varied role will involve taking responsibility for managing the retail brand, above the line communications and in-centre promotions. You will also be responsible for maintaining the marketing operations manual and overseeing the effective management of customer contact within the team.
KEY DUTIES OF THE ROLE
- Developing regional or national above the line campaigns
- Working with Area Managers to understand quarterly tactical requirements and plan local marketing activity
- Creation of tactical solutions that Area Managers can call upon to stimulate sales
- Liaising with the creative agency to develop a clear and strong brand that communicates the client's purpose and values
- Working with the team to ensure brand is consistent across all marketing activities
- Responsible for developing metrics around brand awareness and developing plans to impact those metrics
- Working with Area Managers to ensure all centres comply with in-centre standards
- Negotiate best rates for Media channels such as, but not limited to, Radio, Press, Outdoor, Sponsorships etc.
- Working with Head of Marketing on development of brand propositions and responsible for monitoring their success/ take-up
- Day to day management of media suppliers and creative agencies
- Management and roll out of retail site branding and signage
- Management and distribution of all internal communications
- Management of the client's Public Relations agency and Social Media profiles
- Developing and maintaining the Marketing Operations Manual and ensuring that processes documented are followed in addition to overseeing the marketing administration duties get fulfilled.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven background in Marketing Communications and Brand Management
- Proven experience to be able to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Experience in effective budgetary control
- Experience in managing people
- Ability to write clear briefs and identify the clear campaign objectives
- Experience in reporting on marketing's results and return on investment
