Our client is a fantastic international business with offices based in Green Park, Reading, Berkshire, seeking an IT Support Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis working 3 to 4 days per week. The role will be broadly office based due to the hardware element of the but some training delivery could be done remotely from home if needed. The offices are based in a smart location with parking on site and you will support staff with IT training and upskilling.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for onboarding/offboarding and ensuring all equipment and software is supplied relevant to the position such as building access, software requirements, templates and telephony.
- Be the local contact for all third-party IT support contractors to ensure continuity of support and maintenance for all end-users.
- Assisting with installations, access to infrastructure and users.
- Manage communication and understanding of end user IT communications
- Responsible for training staff for both inductions and ongoing support.
- Support AV needs, help staff manage the AV (training again) and identify and implement improvements/create efficiencies around the office space with tech for running meetings
- Point of contact for telephony and printing/scanning issues and will need to liaise with telephony providers/global IT/ITQ as necessary to resolve.
- Responsible for physical hardware management and supply/ordering of equipment
- Responsible to ensure all local IT procedural documentation is kept up-to-date, change management processes are detailed and always available for audit readiness
- Local coordinator for IT projects which in the immediate future are likely to include migration of devices and telephony management
