Training Manager required for a leading property management company with multiple sites across the UK, specialising in the purpose built luxury student accommodation sector.
The Training Manager will support the Operations Director from Head Office in Oxford and plays an important role in preparing the success and development of the operational teams across all sites. This will include being heavily involved in the mobilisation of new schemes, training the new operations team for the completed site.
The role:
Onboarding:
- Working with HR to confirm Head Office induction dates for new starters
- Working closely with Head of Operations to prepare pre-joining welcome letters with details of induction and training dates
- Assign "Buddies" to new starters
- Update the new starter tracker
- Review and improve current induction delivery
- Book follow-up training dates onsite with new Managers (after Head Office training)
- Clear communication and support to make all new starters feel very welcome from Day 1
Systems Training:
- Book and carry out all systems training for new starters
- Refresher training and systems updates training across the business
- Analysis of future training requirements
- New sites systems set up
- Creating training documentation as part of new features rollout
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in delivering engaging training programmes e.g. induction training, systems training, sales training, remote training and planned onsite training
- A confident communicator with a passion for training and developing teams to be at their very best
- Experience from the hospitality or Further Education sector is referred, but not essential
- Systems training experience and keeping on top off new system upgrades and features for all to use
- On-going review of current processes and looking at continuous improvements to support the business
- Highly organised with excellent leadership and management experience
