Our client is an exciting sustainable jewellery brand dedicated to creating unique and eco-friendly pieces that celebrate individuality, craftsmanship, and ethical production.
Due to their growth, they are now seeking a passionate and creative E-Commerce Marketing Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce marketing, with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility preferable. As the E-Commerce Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales. This role will require a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on implementation including managing in-person events. The Marketing Manager will report to the company's founder and collaborate closely with the design and production teams. This is a full time permanent role with flexibility to work from home two days a week if required – the office is based just a short walk from London Bridge.
This exciting and varied role will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute e-commerce marketing and brand strategies that align with the brand's mission, vision, and values.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including creating content and working with the Product and Creative Manager to produce content, designing email templates, and analyzing results to improve engagement and conversion rates, constantly segmenting and improving our newsletter engagement rate.
- Liase and engage with digital marketing agency to optimise PPC and other paid advertising activities.
- Manage the company social media accounts (instagram, tiktok, and pinterest) in a strategic way to grow followers and increase traffic to the website from them.
- Develop and execute social media and in-person marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other industry contacts to increase brand visibility and reach including exploring affiliate programs.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop and implement new product launches, promotions, and sales strategies.
- Monitor and report on brand performance, including sales, engagement, and customer feedback
- Monitor website analytics to track KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, and revenue, and use insights to optimize marketing campaigns and website design.
- Track & analyse all marketing performance with weekly recaps and monthly reviews with clear actionable recommendations for growth and improvements to be shared and communicated effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, particularly in the sustainable and ethical jewellery space.
- Conduct market research, analyze customer insights and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and trends.
- Creating and managing budgets: You need to manage the marketing budget, including allocating funds to different marketing campaigns and ensuring that spending stays within the budget.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-5+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing, preferably in the sustainable fashion or jewellery industry but not essential.
- Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, tiktok and Google AdWords, to drive traffic and increase conversions is a bonus
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, including email marketing, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
- Experience with Shopify e-commerce platform
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for sustainability and social responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
