Our client is an award winning, luxury student accommodation provider. They are looking for a temporary Accommodation Manager to support their site in Cambridge for 2 - 4 weeks. We are ideally looking for anyone with experience in budgeting, health and safety, facilities, excellent customer service skills, property management and previous student accommodation skills would be a massive bonus.
Please be aware that you will need to be immediately available as we are looking for someone to start as early as Monday if possible.
You will be working Monday to Friday (37.5 per week) 9am - 5:30pm
The duties may include the following:
- Ensure that all visitors and residents receive a warm, friendly and informative welcome
- You will be the first point of contact and will be responsible for ensuring that all enquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently
- Show potential tenants around show flat initially with the aim to convert viewings into room bookings
- Promote the new building and network with local students/businesses, University to ensure high occupancy for the first year of opening
- Build strong working relationships and provide excellent service
- Work with contractors to ensure timely completion of the building
- Ensure that any maintenance issues are address and rectified in a timely manner
- Responsibility for facilities and delegation of tasks once the building is complete
- Work with the team to coordinate events and provide an excellent environment for the students to live in
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are met
- Undertake room inspections and report any issues
- Use local knowledge to ensure that visitors and residents are aware of local amenities and attractions to maximise their stay
- Ensure that budgets are met
- Participate in client meetings and conference calls at scheduled times throughout the month
