We are looking for an Associate level consultant to join our growing sustainability team. The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience of sustainability consultancy for public and private sector organisations, be confident in a client facing role, and support business development. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in circular economy and decarbonisation programmes for organisations, innovation programmes and research.
The role will include:
• Leading sustainability consultancy and research projects for organisations, including business case development for new concepts and developing innovation programmes
• Project managing consultancy projects
• Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Contributing to business development activity including tender responses, competitions and direct proposals
• Managing a team of junior consultants
• Commercial and technical management of projects using our systems and processes
• Capturing, demonstrating and communicating the outcomes and impact of our work internally and externally
• External leadership - speaking at events and taking part in industry panels

Professional qualifications and core knowledge
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline related to sustainability or sustainable business
• Chartered or advanced qualifications in your discipline
• A wider grounding in environmental and social sustainability themes, and particular expertise in one or more specialist areas
• Knowledge of policies, standards and emerging solutions relating to sustainable business
