Our client is a growing Professional Services firm with an excellent reputation seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their brilliant team. This is a part time permanent role based in Reading town centre working either two or three full days per week or spreading part time hours across the whole week.
This varied position will include the following roles and responsibilities:
- Assist in the provision of an efficient and effective accounting service to the firm as a whole.
- Post accounting transactions to the firm’s client account and office ledgers promptly and accurately.
- Analyse reports and prepare files for closure where necessary.
The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualities and experience:
- Have comprehensive accounts knowledge
- Bring experience of working in a professional environment
- Possess good literacy and IT skills
- Be a good team player, with a willingness to offer support to others
- Be enthusiastic, flexible and efficient, with a helpful and friendly manner when dealing with clients and colleagues
- Have a positive “can-do” attitude
