- Description
EllisKnight are currently looking for an experienced in-house legal and compliance lead/officer/manager to join this London based client on a part-time basis. They are open to hybrid or remote working to provide cover over 3-4 days per week (7.5 hrs per day). This can be managed to fit around your lifestyle and other commitments each week. Having central London based office allows for anyone living locally/commutable to work from that location as/when preferred.
The role is a broad business facing opportunity that will be responsible for all legal, regulatory and data governance requirements within a SME business; controls, documentation and contracts, liaison with external legal services etc.
There will also be a strong data/information governance and protection aspect to the role (inc GDPR), so previous experience of leading or managing this will be essential
The ideal background will also include the ability to engage and influence the business (Leadership and teams) to embrace a culture of legal and regulatory compliance.
