Description

Our client is an amazing internationally recognised values driven organisation seeking an Interim HR Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full time hybrid position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, with the flexibility to choose the days you wish to work from their stunning offices in Oxfordshire.


This interesting and varied role will cover the following key responsibilities:


  • Conduct regular 1-1 meetings with managers in your teams to provide regular HR guidance and support to ensure they have happy healthy teams e.g. coaching, training, performance management guidance, career development support, managing sickness absences cases and identifying training needs etc
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues whilst maintaining in depth knowledge of employment legislation and legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and input on team structures, internal transfer and promotion plans, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Conduct quarterly forums to connect, engage, inspire and upskill our management community
  • Deliver internal training sessions from performance management to emotional intelligence
  • Support the HR Manager to create and present engaging presentations for company meetings
  • Work with the HR Manager to flag recruitment needs and conduct interviews
  • Conduct focus groups, create action plans and engage stakeholders in delivering improvements
  • Support the team in build the client’s profile through appropriate events and awards
  • Understand the needs of the teams you support and ensure all have wellbeing goals that are being worked on
  • Contribute to wellbeing plans for the year to ensure the needs of the team are reflected
  • Continually review the workplace to make sure all individual needs and differences are accommodated and embraced
  • Utilise salary benchmark data to devise plans for promotion and pay increases as required
  • Contribute to budget planning and quarterly payroll forecasts

Skills, qualities and experience required:


  • CIPD part-qualified or fully qualified or equivalent HR experience
  • Experience of supporting a head-office operation
  • Experience of business partnering including resolving complex issues
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proven training, presenting and facilitation abilities
  • Brilliant attention to detail
  • Incredible organisation skills with a logical/methodical approach
  • A real passion for people and a knack for understanding how they tick
  • A commercial outlook and an understanding of the needs of a growing company
  • A good knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with MS Office including Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a working environment that continuously looks to develop, where you will be championing the People agenda at all levels
  • Ability to work flexibly, especially in managing your schedule to carry out interviews to accommodate candidates (which might sometimes be pre-9am or post 5pm)
  • Ability to excite and energise the people around you
  • Absolute discretion regarding employee issues and data
