Marketing Assistant / Marketing Administrator
Support the Marketing Manager on a range of marketing activities to drive interest in the properties and achieve and generate as much interest as possible across the portfolio.
Develop the company brand through a range of marketing opportunities, both online and offline.
Support the Marketing Team with a wide range of administrative tasks.
Key tasks
Work with the Marketing Manager to understand the needs of the client and deliver planning and budgets per property, as per the strategy, ensuring consistency across the portfolio.
Review the company website and third-party listings/referral agent listings across the relevant websites ensuring room descriptions, rents and photography is up to date.
Manning of live chat and live chat inbox to support with accommodation related queries and direct to the relevant person or team.
Support the Marketing Manager in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, open days, university fairs and site and city events.
Undertake research for marketing documents including strategies and new proposals.
Co-ordinate marketing activities across email, print, and local advertising.
Assist with obtaining quotes from new suppliers including but not limited to promotional items, print and digital activity.
Ensure timely and professional actions are taken for all day-to-day marketing tasks in association with own projects including enquiries and administration.
Be the first point of contact within the marketing team in terms of answering the phone and managing the marketing inbox along with directing enquires to the relevant person.
Design and produce marketing materials to support clients and their properties, briefing designers and managing the process through to delivery.
Co-ordinate media planning for online and offline advertising.
Manage the image library including sourcing images and organising files.
Skills & experience required:
Marketing related degree or previous experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment.
A positive attitude with willingness to learn.
Good IT skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
An ability to present information clearly and logically and communicate effectively with others.
Highly organised and efficient.
Strong team player keen to share best practice.
Able to build relationships within different departments and with suppliers.
