My client is a rapidly growing organisation with international prestige seeking a Financial Analyst to join their tea. Based in Staines with parking on site, this is a full time permanent hybrid role – with three days a week from the office and two days working from home.
This interesting and varied role will include the following key responsibilities:
- Preparation of Management Information for reporting to Group
- Submission of monthly performance to Group via existing systems ensuring bespoke processes utilised are efficient, accurate and “fit for purpose”
- Analysis of monthly Services, Sales and Marketing overheads expenditure with recommendations on accruals and prepayments
- Presentation of Services, Sales and Marketing overheads to Stakeholders with comparison to budget and creation of monthly re-forecast
- Production of Balance sheet reconciliations in relation to revenue and cost of sale with demonstrable understanding of balances
- To assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts for both Services and Product Revenues and Cost of Sales
- To assist in the reporting of performance against Product and Services Revenue Forecasts
- Responsible for the creation of the weekly “backlog” report for cash forecasting
- To assist the wider Finance Team in the creation of business information through the creation of system generated reports
- To assist in the analysis of Services Time Sheet data and the comparison to fulfilled revenues
- To assist in the review of Services utilisation and the impact on current Day Rate costings
- To assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- To assist in the fulfilment of audit queries as required
The following skills, qualities and experience is required:
- Reasonable financial knowledge (i.e., AAT / Part Qual). Be able to understand a basic P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow Statement and the basics of double entry.
- Experience on multiple finance systems, ideally C, preferably on reporting
- Experience of working in an IT Services business is desirable
- Basic understanding of services accounting is desirable
- Strong IT Skills with Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with experience of managing a demanding workload and conflicting priorities
- Experience of verbally communicating complex information precisely, effectively and with authority to both individuals and groups
- An ability to negotiate with people at all levels
- Attention to detail with proven ability to analyse data
- Maintain high activity levels with a high degree of accuracy
- See tasks through to completion and within agreed timescales
- Can present/collate information clearly and effectively
- Good organisational skills
