Our client is an exciting international organisation seeking a talented Supply Chain Administrator to join their lovely team on a permanent basis. The role will be based two days a week from their beautiful offices in Oxford Science Park with three days spent working from home. Laptop and mobile phone will of course be provided for you. The standard working hours will be 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager this varied and interesting role will require you to provide and maintain excellence in the delivery of supply chain activities and customer focused services as a part of the Sales Operations Team. Flexibility will be required to support in other areas of the team when needed and our client is seeking a superb team player.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Ensure stock availability to satisfy sales forecast for UK & IE
- Liaise with product suppliers for incoming shipments and monitoring of stock availability
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock to meet demand
- Ensure stock receipted correctly by Logistic Service Provider and interfaced to SAP
- Liaise with Logistic Service Provider related to stock issues.
- Provide all stock documentation to QA required for quality checks and release for sale
- Ensure stock reconciled between Logistic Service Provider and SAP
- Weekly stock holding and sales forecast review meetings with Operations & Sales Managers
- Provide support as required to the sales operations team with additional tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer support where required
- Creation of customer quotes and management of service contracts.
- Update company’s CRM System data up to date with relevant documents and customer details.
- Responsible for reporting adverse events strictly in accordance with specific local Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Deal with general customer enquiries in a timely manner ensuring all relevant parties are kept informed
- Responsible for operating to the instructions contained in all relevant effective SOPs.
Key skills, qualities and experience needed:
- Proven experience in Supply chain and inventory management
- Must be able to work in accordance with SOP’s and a highly regulated and quality-controlled environment
- Experienced key user in SAP ERP
- Excel advanced
- Confident, collaborative team player as well as proactive with own workload.
- Must have excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills
- Create concise supply and inventory reporting
- Ability to analyse data and solve problems
- Attention to detail and accuracy essential
