Marketing Assistant

As a Marketing Assistant, you will work alongside the Marketing Team to support the day-to-day requirements of the Company, and provide support to the Business Manager where required.

You will be a key member of the team and will be supported to develop and progress your overall marketing skills and expertise. You will have a desire to learn and will be able to show initiative and come up with ideas to support the marketing needs of the business. You will be motivated by working to deadlines with accuracy and have excellent organisational and communication skills and an enthusiasm for all aspects of marketing. 

Responsibilities:

• Working mainly with Adobe Creative Desktop products so some experience essential with (Creative Cloud, InDesign, illustrator etc)
• Assist with the planning, developing, managing and implementation of our internal and external events
• Support our outreach programme, to ensure brand awareness
• Social media engagement across all social media platforms
• Assist with the design of marketing & sales collateral consistent with the Company brand and propositions
• Assist with internal and external marketing campaigns
• Track, measure and analyse all marketing initiatives
• Website management and optimisation
• Write, edit and proofread copy
• Co-ordination of merchandising; selection of goods and satisfying team requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and other vendor partners

Qualifications

Education – Relevant degree in business or marketing would be desirable.

Previous experience of working within a Marketing function or department is essential.

English and Mathematics, GCSE A-C (minimum). 

Tools:

Microsoft Office 365 with an emphasis on:

PowerPoint

Word

Excel

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications preferred
