Front of House Assistant
Amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company that are a market leading provider of luxury student accommodation properties across the UK. This role is working onsite at a beautiful, state of the art property in Swansea, providing Front of House support to the students that live there.This is a fixed term contract vacancy until the end of August.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 37.5 hours on a rota – for example 8am – 4.30pm or 11.30am – 8pm
Weekends - every other weekend with working hours Saturday 8am – 4.30pm and Sunday 11.30am – 8pm
The role:
To support the onsite Accommodation Management Team to provide a professional service by ensuring all on site facilities are in excellent working order and ensuring company objectives are met at all times.- Daily administrative duties with regards to the delivery of the service to students, staff and clients.
- Ensuring a warm welcoming environment to students, parents and visitors the site
- Required to establish professional work practices and procedures to ensure a pleasing and hygienic standard of accommodation.
- Ensure the upkeep of the fabric of the building, equipment, furniture and fittings by reporting defects and taking corrective action, so that a well maintained safe and secure living and working environment exists.
- To be responsible for the safe keeping of any monies / float and banking of receipts in accordance with the CRM cash handling procedures.
- Control and issue of any keys or access devices including administration relating to car parking (if applicable) in accordance with residences procedures.
- Responding to customer enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner
- Communicating effectively with customers to ensure they are fully informed of current and future developments
- Ensuring site kept in optimum condition both on the interior and exterior
- Maintain proper and accurate records in conjunction with Accommodation Management Team
- Under supervision, manage all risk and safety within property
- Reporting of safety issues to Group Human Resources & Safety Manager
- Plan, organise and run events for students
- Daily admin, logging parcel and post
- Assisting with the marketing, lettings and promotion of the accommodation
