IT Procurement Officer

We are recruiting a passionate IT Procurement officer who is looking for then next stage to grow their career and responsibility. This is an amazing opportunity to work closely with the Sales Bid Management Team and CFO in the effective management of the supply chain and delivery of a first-class service-driven culture with value for money at its heart. The IT Procurement specialist will best suit someone with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to continuously review and enhance procurement processes with an emphasis on business partnering.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Bid and Client Services Lead + CFO with upcoming projects by ensuring baseline cost inputs are extant
• Manage and lead the Technology category, with latest supplier details and pricing
• Negotiate commercial arrangements with suppliers reflecting volume and contract length discounts
• Understand the future business pipeline and product roadmap to implement both long & short term category plans
• Build and develop relationships with internal & external stakeholders
• Proactive in monitoring Supplier Performance, KPIs, SLAs & Contract Management (new & existing suppliers)
• Vendor/supplier onboarding ensuring commercial, supply chain security and service provisions are inline with the business need
• Escalation point for suppliers and vendor incidents
• Define preferred supplier procurement routes
• Take a global view on purchasing requirements ensuring best value can be driven cross the portfolio to achieve significant and sustainable improvements in outcomes and productivity
• Drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• A – Level educated or equivalent
• CIPs Level 3 - desirable
