Our client is a Professional Services firm with an outstanding reputation seeking a Secretary to join their friendly and supportive Commercial Property Team in Reading town centre. The hours of the role are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, and will be office based.
Key responsibilities include:
- Production of documents and correspondence as required within the team
- Obtaining Land Registry documents
- Carrying out searches
- Making Land Registry applications
- Efficient handling of telephone enquiries and calls
- Provision of assistance and dealing with tasks as delegated
- File administration and data management
- Preparation of document bundles for formal hearings
- Dealing with payments and invoicing
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a good typing speed (at least 60wpm) and accuracy
- Have proficient knowledge of MS Word and other Office products and ideally experience of working with a practice management system or large database
- Bring experience of working in a professional environment
- Be enthusiastic, flexible and efficient with a helpful and friendly manner for dealing with clients and colleagues
- Be a good team player, with a willingness to offer support to others in the team
