Administrator

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a huge retail and distribution business at part of their Head Office. The Category Management function provides support for purchasing and co-ordinates a wide range of business support tasks for management, predominantly focused around the execution and reporting of sales strategy.

 

This is a hybrid role, with a mix of working in the office and working from home.

 

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. Salary is up to £24,000.

 

The role:

 

  • Management of the accidental damage warranty programs, processing claims and raising corresponding credits, and monitoring trends against KPI’s. 
  • Issue timely reports to the relevant stakeholders and notifying the category manager of exceptions and trends.
  • Liaise directly with supplier contacts to maintain and track 3rd party customer incentive participation
  • Maintain and update customer incentive reports or other performance trackers to support current sales-driving activities
  • Undertake occasional sell out price optimisation surveys utilising competitor pricing analysis, web scrapes and self-generated mystery shop phone call activities.
  • Provide other ad hoc sales reporting & initial analysis as required by the Category Managers or Senior Management
  • Maintain and update process documents for all activities completed

 

Skills & Experience required:

 

  • Experienced in using Microsoft Excel - VLOOKUP function, updating preformatted report templates
  • Also experienced user of other MS Office Products - Word, Power Point etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills - Confident telephone communicator
  • Pro-active, self-starter with the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks
  • Strong team player
  • Innovative and open to learning

 

Desirable (but not essential):

 

  • Previous experience of data entry / management / manipulation
  • Previous experience of administrative support role activities
  • Previous experience of liaising with suppliers, or 3rd party agencies
  • Previous experience of market research or “mystery shop” activities
  • Full UK driving license (or equivalent) & transportation
