Customer Service Assistant - CRM Students
CRM Students is the UK's leading independent manager of student accommodation with multiple sites throughout the UK and also manages residential facilities for corporate clients.
The Customer Service Assistant will be the first point of contact for tenants and prospective tenants in a large student accommodation building in Sheffield. You will provide excellent customer service and administrative support to the on-site team and tenants. It is a challenging and fast paced environment with not one day being the same as the next.
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. These hours will be split between Monday - Sunday, 8am-8pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide front of house reception service
- Deal with customer enquires by email, telephone, social media and in person
- Assist the with the marketing of the property, conduct and manage viewings in order to ensure the property is 100% occupied from September 2021.
- Undertake inspections of student rooms and assess condition for recharging
- Assist with the summer turnaround process - for example check in, check out and refurbishment programs.
- Assist with general Health and Safety, notifying the Accommodation Manager of any issues.
- Assist with viewings and sales
- Processing bookings and payments
- Administer Tenancy Agreements and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed
- Liaise with maintenance to ensure any issues are resolved promptly and logged appropriately

- Have experience in a customer facing role (ideally within a sales environment)
- Excellent communication skills and can build relationships effectively with people
- Influencing skills and professional outlook on challenging issues
- Able to work at pace, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Self motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent personal time management and prioritisation skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office
