EllisKnight recruitment (B-Corp Certified) are hiring a Digital Project Manager for this amazing “purpose driven” organisation based in London. This will be a hybrid working role working 4 days from home and 1 day each week in the office in London. They are transforming the way that people and businesses engage with Sustainability to make it an essential part of their everyday work and purpose.
The Digital Project Manager will join this company at a time where they are continuing to develop their business and as such are going through a digital transformation; developing applications at a rapid pace and investing significantly in technology that powers every aspect of their operations. From consumer experience to cyber security to infrastructure, we are using the best tech available.
Critical to this is the appointment of the Digital Project Manager. They are looking for someone who has a passion for the Planet, is ambitious, optimistic, a problem solver and who is technologically minded.
Role:
You will be leading the delivery and implementation of the digital strategy and transformation programs as well as maintaining oversight of the various pieces of software that we use, and nurturing relationships with our IT-related third-party vendors.
Consequently, we’re looking for an adaptable person who is eager to learn and able to pick up and learn new software rapidly to work with experts on developing best-practice digital tools to meet the needs of our various teams. Our team works predominately remotely, so you must be a self-starter, capable of planning and managing multiple projects in tandem.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Strong project management skills, being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders - both internal and external - effectively.
- Experience leading and documenting software development projects using Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with technical experts to develop new software/platforms.
- Familiarity with a variety of software testing approaches.
- A highly organised and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Able to work remotely on own initiative with minimum supervision.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in being able to rapidly learn new platforms.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical details into simple terms and vice versa.
- Ability to successfully prioritise and work to deadlines, balancing conflicting demands and seeking support where needed.
- Experience managing third-party vendors who are supporting the delivery of critical digital projects.
- Direct line management.
- Confident in showing initiative, but not afraid to ask for help when it is needed.
- Understanding of Cyber Security and Data Protection and with the ability to embed these requirements into all projects.
Desired
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 applications, including sales and marketing.
- Experience working with and/or developing digital carbon emissions and social value measurement platforms.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and the Office Suite.
- Experience working on or leading data governance and data architecture initiatives.
- A passion for sustainability.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Working predominantly from home with team days on Wednesday in London.
