You'll be working for an award-winning company on a mission to provide a welfare centred, 5* quality student home-from-home experience for their residents. Our client holds student welfare needs at their absolute core.
We are seeking a Residence Manager based In Preston. This role is a 40-hour working week, Monday - Friday.
The job role
- Overall responsibility of a student accommodation property.
- Commitment to maintaining and building the company reputation.
- Provide a first-class front-of-house service to residents, third parties, and partners visiting the site.
- Day-to-day supervision of a small team, to include regular staff appraisals, performance monitoring and training as required.
- Regular reporting to the Operations Manager.
- Deliver on the company sales leasing plan, providing support on sales activity including conducting property viewings.
- Assisting with room inspections and in the general upkeep of the property.
- Work with the marketing team to realise delivery of the company marketing plan.
- Promoting the very best of health and safety practice and procedures.
- Ensure full familiarity with in-house policies and procedures, ensuring adherence at all times to these.
- Working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring budgetary control, monitoring and reviewing costs and stock levels.
- Ensuring best practice of contractors and third parties, reporting any relevant concerns with Operations Manager.
- Take a lead role in monitoring and administering the behaviour management policy.
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with residents.
