- Description
- EllisKnight Technology are looking for several SC or DV cleared Technical / Network / Infrastructure Engineers for this major defence related data centre programme. The role will be providing/configuring and building a secure network at two classifications for a government client that supports a Windows Hosted Environment (WHE). Providing an 'on premise' cloud solution for two Data Centres that will connect to multiple external locations.The essential skills needed for this stage are across Palo Alto and Juniper switches and firewalls as well as experience on SDWANAll contracts will be able to start immediately and will be based at a highly secure site based in Hertfordshire. (Working from the site Minday-Friday)
All roles are outside IR35 and will run for an initial period of 2-3 months with further extensions afterwards.
Role requirements:- Experienced Network/Firewall/Infrastructure Engineer
- Holds current SC or DV level clearance
- Hands-on experience Palo Alto & Juniper Switches and firewalls (SRX firewalls, EX or QFX lines of switches)
- SDWAN
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP based networks including the concepts of routing and switching.
