Health & Safety Facilities Manager (South & South West Region)
We have a new vacancy for an experienced Health & Safety Facilities Manager to cover the South and South West Region for a great company that manage a portfolio of luxury student accommodation properties across the UK.The role:
- Develop Health & Safety Plans
- Provide comprehensive safety advise to property managers and their teams
- Ensure that new sites are scheduled for risk assessments before opening
- Work with National Training Manager to ensure that all staff undertake safety training
- Help teams to create personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS)
- Annual audits
- Attend project meeting with clients
- Undertake spot checks on compliance
- Promote and enthusiastic safety culture that delivers positive commitment to continuous improvement and engaging with all staff on safety measures
Skills:- Working towards or possess NEBOSH general certificate
- Knowledge of building health & safety issues / FM background
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/ ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Behavioural Safety programmes
- Ability to train others
