- Description
- EllisKnight Technology are looking for several SC or DV cleared Firewall Engineers for this major defence IT programme.
All contracts will be able to start within the next couple of weeks and can be based from sites based in Hereford or Hertfordshire.
All roles are outside IR35 and have the potential to go long term.
Role requirements:- Experienced Network Firewall Engineer (Large scale IT/Technology programme experience)
- Holds current SC or DV level clearance
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Juniper network devices - including both Juniper's SRX firewalls and Juniper's EX or QFX lines of switches.
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP based networks including the concepts of routing and switching.
Desirable:
- Experience of the deployment and management of VMware' NSX-T technology; including the use of NSX-T to provide a zero-trust solution using micro-segmentation.
- Experience of automation within a network environment - for example using Terraform.
- Some proficiency with Python programming language.
