EllisKnight are working with a fantastic business who are one of the top 3 largest not for profit care providers in the UK specialising in providing high quality, person centred care for older people, in care homes and extra care housing. As a charity we ensure that any revenue goes straight back into our homes meaning our residents and staff are well looked after. *Please not that this role can be remote but you will be asked to go to site 2/3 a week.
We are now recruiting an Interim Project Coordinator on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.
An immediate opportunity has arisen for someone step in and support the Sea Change Project which is focussed on the closure of the current Oxfordshire Office in Witney and the opening of a new Oxfordshire Office (location to be determined). Working with the support of the Project Manager, you will be required to understand and develop a project schedule, work towards timelines and present progress reports to senior stakeholders.Their office based support teams are every bit as important to the smooth running of our organisation, and therefore the well-being of our residents, as the teams based in our homes and extra care housing schemes. We have four regional offices, one each in Lincolnshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, offering opportunities in a number of different business areas.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and supporting the project manager.
- Designing and controlling the project schedule.
- Compiling project data/ preparing presentations to update senior management on the project's progress and showcase the project's value.
- Delegating tasks to team members.
- Tracking and communicating project risks and opportunities.
- Ensuring deadlines are met.
- Organising and attending stakeholder meetings.
- Providing administrative support.
- Organising project team meetings and recording minutes
Experience
- Previous expereince as a project co-ordinator on an office closure/ move project
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
