Description

EllisKnight is really excited to be looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant for one of our key clients, working at their European head office based in Oxford.

This role will require processing supplier payments and uploading banking transactions for student sites and assisting the Client Account Team.

Our client offers fantastic training, support and progression opportunities.

Key Tasks:

  • The timely production of high quality outputs to both internal and external customers
  • Processing of all supplier invoices, on a daily basis, ensuring CRM's processing policy for each portfolio is adhered to
  • Ensuring all supplier payments are made in accordance with CRM's and client payment terms and all relevant authorisations have been obtained
  • Ensuring site expenses are settled in-line with CRM's expense policy
  • Ensuring pre paid card claims are settled in-line with CRM's pre paid card policy
  • Where possible offer help and support to other members of your team
  • Follow up and queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Identify and offer solutions to eliminate inefficiencies on an on-going basis
  • Assist in the training of other team members.
  • Continue to implement Performance & Culture initiatives upholding CRM values
  • To ensure all company policies are adhered to.
  • Behave in accordance with the requirement of the company's Health and Safety Policy

Skills and experience:

  • 2 years' experience of Accounts Payable and banking
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Building effective relationships with Clients & Colleagues
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Client focused
  • Good Excel skills
  • Focus on & commitment to excellence in customer service
  • Ability to analyse & interpret data
