We are currently hiring a Security Cleared (SC) PMO Analyst / PMO Coordinator to support this major IT Platform & Architecture programme. Previous experience in supporting large scale IT programmes/projects will be required for this role. Any experience of working within or for the defence industry would be highly desirable.
This is a varied role in establishing and maintaining the project delivery function. You will perform various coordinating tasks in the support of project delivery, on a large and complex project over six months. The role will involve customer and internal communication, documentation and a variety of administrative tasks. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills as you'll collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver results to deadlines.This role will be based out of the Reading office and will require you to be onsite daily due to the secure nature of the work.
Responsibilities- Updating RAID logs, in conjunction with the PM. Liaising with RAID owners for updates
- Central record of key milestones - tracking projects against these.
- Escalating non-compliance to process/procedure to the Transition Delivery Lead, as required
- Managing the gateway process to ensure "must have" documents are all completed to the required standard at each stage
- Ensuring internal and external progress reporting is completed on time
- Project spend tracking and resource tracking
- Carrying out spot checks on project documents - checking the quality and completeness of project artefacts
- Completing a full deep dive on a project and carrying a detailed project audit, to review everything that the project manager and team are working on.
- Recording actions at project meetings. Following up with action owners between meetings to ensure completion/ progress
Skills and Experience- IT PMO experience
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Competent in using Excel, Microsoft Project and if possible Celoxis
- Ability to produce well written, articulate documents
- Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy.
Qualifications- Degree qualified, equivalent or with recent IT PMO experience
- Must hold current security clearance (SC)
