Operator (Assembly)

EllisKnight is recruiting for 10 x Assembly Operators to work with a client based near Chipping Norton, on an ongoing temporary basis.

Starting as soon as possible, you will be required to perform all aspects of auto assembly/assembly operations following completion of the training process, including packing and the use of auxiliary equipment

It would be your responsibility as the Operator to work to the correct instructions and specifications relevant to the product being assembled or packed:

Duties / Expectations include:

• Place all non-conforming product, on hold as per procedure
• Ensure all containers, boxes and bags being used are clean and not contaminated and have product status labels attached when in use
• Ensure that the protective clothing, including safety glasses issued, are used as specified and are kept in a safe place when not in use
• At the end of each day, ensure all containers are to covered to protect them from contamination etc if not in clean room designated area's
• Adherence to all dress codes are applicable to each assembly area
• Participate in all training and retraining activities as required by section leader/ manager
• Completion of all documents that the operator is required to complete and in a timely manner
• Housekeeping should be participated in and adhered to
• Responsible of cleanliness and appearance of workstations assigned to you at all times
• To follow Company policy in matters of health and safety
• Ensure training of manual handling is adhered to
• Participate in continuous improvements and investigation activities as required
• Work in a conscientious and positive manner with team members to produce a quality product that meets specifications

Experience & Skills:

• Manufacturing experience
• Quality experience
• Medical Devices preferred but not essential
• Good communicator
• Ability to work within a team
• Self-starter
• Attention to detail

There are TWO SHIFTS available:

• 2pm - 10pm = £9.44ph
• 10pm - 6am = £10.09ph
