My client is an exciting online furniture retail business that are moving to wonderful offices in picturesque Pangbourne near Reading, Berkshire. The office has onsite parking and is also based just a short walk from Pangbourne station.
The ideal candidate will be working towards the AAT qualification or equivalent and have a basic knowledge of accountancy.
The Role:
- Taking ownership of various accounting and reporting processes which deliver financial reports that feed into the wider financial reporting packs
- Long-term cost reduction and cost control
- Assisting in Audit Preparation
- Supplier Invoice Reconciliations
- To own various financial control processes to ensure accuracy across all levels of reporting whilst working with operations to support and improve these.
- General support across the finance team where needed
- Continuous improvement of processes and systems
- Providing professional and analytical support to a variety of internal stakeholders
