Accommodation Manager
Work with us at one of our client's luxury student accommodation sites! If you have excellent rapport building skills and have an interest in working in a client facing role this could be just the opportunity for you!- Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours: Full Time, Permanent - Monday to Friday
Managing a small team in this building, the duties will include the following:- Ensure that all visitors and residents receive a warm, friendly and informative welcome
- Work with the Assistant Manager to ensure all enquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently
- Work with assistants to show new potential tenants around rooms with the aim of converting viewings into room bookings
- Manage facilities tasks and escalate any maintenance issues to the maintenance operative when necessary
- Ensure that any maintenance issues are addressed and rectified in a timely manner
- Build strong working relationships and provide an excellent service to all tenants
- Work with the team to coordinate events and provide an excellent environment for the students to live in
- Ensure that health and safety and fire regulations are met
- Undertake room inspections and report any issues
- Use local knowledge to ensure that visitors and residents are aware of local amenities and attractions to maximise their stay
- Ensure that budgets are met
- Management of a small team, providing mentoring, training and guidance
- Participate in client meetings and conference calls at scheduled times throughout the month
The skills/attributes that we are seeking are:- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience within student accommodation is desirable
- Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with customers and visitors
