Ellis Knight are excited to be working with a well established business who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join them on a 6 month contract basis, working full time at their office in Oxford.
As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Head of Accounts, responsible for assisting with the production of monthly accounts and accompanying analysis.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: balance sheet reconciliations; bank reconciliations; journal processing including accruals and prepayments; maintaining fixed assets; variance analysis; assisting with budgeting and forecasting; cash flow forecasting.
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA/AAT
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have knowledge of working in a month end finance role
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
