Our client is an exciting and innovative organisation based in Nottingham, seeking a passionate Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their growing Sustainability and Wellbeing team. This role is available either as a part time or full time position, with flexibility offered to work from home two to three days a week.
This interesting and varied role will require skills and experience within sustainability strategy as well as creating energy and sustainability statements for planning. Successful applicants will have passionate and informed knowledge of sustainability issues including current and future legislation (Net Zero Carbon, carbon offsetting, circular economy) as well as demonstrable project management and consultancy experience. Cross-sector experience (e.g. industrial, logistics, retail, offices, residential and mixed-used) in the UK and ideally internationally would also be very valuable.
The perfect candidate will also have knowledge, experience and qualifications within the following key areas:
- Bachelor or master's qualification in relevant field, such as Environmental Design of Buildings, Sustainable Construction, Environmental Engineering
- Excellent client facing, report writing and communication skills
- Member of relevant professional (ideally chartered) body such as IEMA, Energy Institute, RIBA or CIOB
- BREEAM Assessor
- Life-Cycle Assessment
- WELL Building Standard / Fitwel
- LEED, HQM, Sunlight/Daylight modelling, Dynamic Overheating / Thermal Comfort modelling
- Revit, AutoCad, Rhino, LCA (e.g. One Click), SAP, SBEM, Design Builder, IES, PHPP
