Project Management Office Coordinator

This is a varied role supporting the Programme Delivery Manager and Transition Lead in establishing and maintaining the project delivery function. You will perform various coordinating tasks in the support of project delivery, live service support and routine Company business. The role will involve customer and internal communication, documentation and a variety of administrative tasks. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills as you'll collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver results to deadlines.

Responsibilities
* Lead Project Co-ordination activities for small projects or complex customer requests
* Updating RAID logs, in conjunction with the PM. Liaising with RAID owners for updates
* Support the continuous improvement of the PMO function through the development of new and enhanced processes and artefacts
* Central record of key milestones - tracking projects against these
* Escalating non-compliance to process/procedure to the Transition Delivery Lead, as required
* Managing the SC+ gateway process to ensure "must have" documents are all completed to the required standard at each stage
* Ensuring internal and external progress reporting is completed on time
* Project spend tracking and resource tracking
* Carrying out spot checks on project documents - checking the quality and completeness of project artefacts
* Completing a full deep dive on a project and carrying a detailed project audit, to review everything that the project manager and team are working on
* Recording actions at project meetings. Following up with action owners between meetings to ensure completion/ progress
* Co-ordinate site visits in support of project delivery
* Co-ordinate goods out for project deliveries. Ensuring that all deliveries which are sent to customers as part of a project represent the company in the best possible way
* Oversee the stock management processes for the company

Skills and Experience
* Minimum of 3 years experience working in a PMO
* An interest and knowledge of project management concepts and process
* A keen interest in IT and a desire to learn more about the technology we use at SC+
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
* Good Excel spreadsheet skills; the ability to use charts, pivot tables and formulas would be desirable
* Familiarity with project scheduling tools, such as MS project
* Ability to produce well written, articulate documents
* Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills
* Discretion in handling confidential information
* Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy
* Hold, or able to hold UK government security clearance
