Administrative Officer (IT)
This is a great opportunity to play an important role within the IT department of a large, growing, not-for-profit organisation.
As the Administrative Officer in the IT department, you will work independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties, get hands-on with supporting office-based IT systems and peripherals, as well as administering the key asset, licencing and MDM management systems. You'll build up effective working relationships with IT third party suppliers, liaising over invoicing, ordering and billing, whilst ensuring that a schedule for procurement and IT purchasing is maintained and acted upon.
We're looking for someone with proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role. You'll possess excellent general IT skills and a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, and the ability to understand how portals and systems work in order to administer the data inside them. An effective communicator, you'll be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
Other key skills and experience required for this role include:
- Experience of attending meetings and recording actions
- Knowledge and ability to retrieve information from relevant sources through research
- Some experience of financial administration
- Experience of mapping out and writing technical process and documentation
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material
