Management Accountant
EllisKnight are recruiting for a really exciting opportunity for a career-hungry Management Accountant to join a constantly developing £45 million business with a strong household name.

Background to the Role
Initially this role will have responsibility for the purchase ledger, stock, banking and cashflow. You will be assisted by two other members of our team and will provide guidance and inspiration in making these areas more efficient. Being a key member of a small team, you will also work closely with the Financial Controller and will develop in this role to become a well-rounded, commercially-minded accountant. Initiative, drive, team building and a degree of autonomy will be expected.
In addition, there will be a wide variety of ad-hoc projects as the company, and particularly the Finance Department, goes through a period of change. They have recently implemented purchase ledger OCR software that transforms the way that they process invoices and they are constantly looking for ways to automate and improve all areas of the department. You will assist the Financial Controller in business-partnering with other departments and will take initiatives on business-critical projects.

- You will need sound accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- You will also possess strong IT skills with sound experience of accounting systems and Microsoft Office. A high standard of Excel is desirable.
