An incredibly exciting opportunity has become available for a talented HR Professional to join our empowering client as a People & Culture Manager. You will be joining an amazing organisation that is geared around creating a positive impact on the world.
A passionate understanding that sustainability is good for business and that business is a force for good for the environment and society is essential. You'll be working alongside a fantastic team of like-minded individuals in a great working culture that promotes happiness and excellent opportunities for development. This is a permanent part time role of 25 hours a week (with the possibility of hours increasing over time) and you will be based in the office just once a week. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the team at all times - be a confidant and check in with everyone
- Run the staff reviews and ensure the team are supported at work and beyond
- Take the lead on hiring and recruitment - creating job descriptions and working with our suppliers to find the best talent
- Welcoming the team's new starters and providing full onboarding support
- Becoming the Health and Wellbeing Champion for the company
- Maintaining a brilliant working environment by bringing your ideas to the table - from rewards to incentives and team building
- Protect and reinforcing the company culture as the company continues to grow
- Ensuring that policies are in place, to provide full support around Diversity, Inclusivity and Accessibility
- Shout about the great work the company does by supporting entries for awards and signing up to the best employee related schemes for the benefit of the team
- Support on producing offer letters, creating contracts, reference checks and all other administrative related tasks
Skills, qualities and experience:
- Strong HR experience with CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
- Warm, empathetic and a great listener
- Superb communication skills
- A desire to help and support people
- Passionate about sustainability and social value
- Brilliant attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Absolutely loves bringing ideas to the table
- Good experience working with MS Office
