Head of Certification
An exceptional opportunity has become available as a Head of Sustainability Certification, perfect for someone looking to work for a fast-growing business that is having a positive impact on the world.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the certification team, coordinating internal and external consultants to deliver work as scheduled and providing expert advice and leadership
- Regularly audit work of the certification team and analyse delivery data monthly reviewing against KPIs
- Manage software providers assist the team with software queries
- Consider and implement process improvements to the certification process as required
- Work with customers to provide expert advice and improve process
- Oversee collation and accuracy of cumulative data and manage data provision for annual Impact Report
- Work closely with the COO to advise on product development and improvements to the certification process
- Maintain active membership of IEMA and ICRS, keeping up to date with new methods and attending CPD courses in standards and policies in corporate carbon accounting
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate sustainability and environmental management
- Experienced account manager, used to preparing proposals and projects for bespoke sustainability consulting
- Experience in carbon footprint accounting and knowledge of greenhouse gas reporting and standards e.g. GHG Protocol, ISO 14064
- Experience in audit/verifications of corporate carbon footprints using ISO 14064-3
- Strong mathematical and analytical background
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and excellent IT skills
We are looking for someone to start in November 2020, working remotely with weekly team meetings in central London, expected to resume once Coronavirus restrictions have eased.
